Welcome to our
We offer minor teeth corrections for children and adults.
Orthodontics for children and teenagers are part of the services covered by the statutory health insurance as far as the defective position of teeth or jaw is compliant with the criteria of the so-called KIG rules. The KIG rules (orthodontics indication group) clearly define which degree (measured in mm) the defective position of the teeth or the jaw has to have. If the degree of the defective positions is below the given limits, it is possible that a treatment is indicated, however, the health insurance does not have to cover it. In this case a privately paid therapy scheme can be developed.
In general, orthodontic treatment for adults older than 18 years is not covered by the health insurance. There are a few exceptions such as adjustments as a result of surgery, accidents or trauma.
